When manufacturing or planning to manufacture potent drugs, a containment unit is needed to protect the operator and his environment. To ensure an ≤OEB4 containment level, our iCaps “C” – Containment – features:

A contained test sample inserter to avoid contact between the product and the operator while testing the metal detector operation.
A continuous pressure monitoring to ensure the equipment remains under negative pressure at all times, preventing dust particles from escaping.
Fail-safe pinch valves, automatically creating a safe environment for the operator if a problem is detected.
Simple and contained disconnection of peripheral process equipment, using our Flex Connect pipe in conjunction with a double LDPE barrier and Clip & Cut.
A unique antistatic patented metal check connectivity allows the machine to have easy tightness while discharging potential static electricity from the capsules.

This containment system is modularly upgradable to a “HC” High Containment washable solution.
